Established in 1848, Burra Community School is a Reception to Year 12 public school which currently has 240 students. The school offers a modern and welcoming environment for its students in an historical location.
Nestled among bare rolling hills and located 155 km north of Adelaide and 45 km east of Clare the historic town of Burra serves the surrounding rich farming, grazing and pastoral country, several secondary industries and a vital tourist industry.
With its excellent amenities and infrastructure, the town is also the administrative centre for the Regional Council of Goyder.
